The PTL “CTI Tester” MP-M31.50 leakage current tester determines the tracking resistance of solid insulating materials 
in accordance with IEC 60112. It determines the Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) and the Proof Tracking Index (PTI).

By controlled dripping of a conductive test solution between two platinum electrodes onto the surface of the test specimen under alternating voltage, the material’s resistance to the formation of conductive tracking paths due to moisture and contaminants is evaluated.
 
The results are used for material characterization, quality control, and the selection of suitable insulating materials for electrical equipment.

The entire operation of the tester is conveniently controlled via the integrated 7-inch touchscreen HMI. All test parameters, test specimen
data, device settings, and the calibration menu are centrally organized within the device software and are intuitive to use. 
Test reports and measurement data are available in PDF or CSV format and can be easily exported via the integrated interfaces.
